EUCMOS
The European Congress on Molecular Spectroscopy (EUCMOS) meetings can be traced back to 1947, when Reinhard Mecke organized a congress under the auspices of the informal European Molecular Spectroscopy Group, in Konstanz. However, the meeting which has since become regarded as the first EUCMOS was organized by Ernst Miescher in Basel, in 1951. Since then, every two years an EUCMOS meeting has been held in different places in Europe. The scientific excellence of the series makes EUCMOS one of the most important events in the field of Molecular Spectroscopy.
EMPOC
The European Meeting on Physical Organic Chemistry (EMPOC) (originally called Szkoła Fizykochemii Organicznej, and from 2018 known as the Central European School on Physical Organic Chemistry) has been organized since 1974 by the Section of Physical Organic Chemistry of the Polish Chemical Society. The scientific scope of these meetings is broad, encompassing both experimental and theoretical aspects of molecular structure and interactions in organic, bio-organic, and environmental chemistry, phase transitions, the physics and chemistry of nano-environments, and applications in chemical technology and medicine. The primary objectives of the meetings are to exchange scientific ideas, discuss problems, establish collaborations, and create opportunities for high-level learning. The schedule of each meeting is designed to meet these requirements. This year, a conference is co-organized with the EUCMOS.

MAIN TOPICS 2025
All aspects of spectroscopic methods and techniques (including applications), as well as computational and theoretical approaches for investigating the structure, dynamics and properties of molecular systems, will be considered in EUCMOS 2025 and EMPOC 2025.
The general session topics include:
- Molecular structure, dynamics and interactions
- Methods and developments in molecular spectroscopy
- Biospectroscopy
- AI, chemometrics and theory
- From millihertz to terahertz spectroscopy
- Applied spectroscopy
